One of those cases involved capital murder charges against a 19-year-old mother who was accused of killing her two young children and burying them under her house. The District Attorney personally appeared on television and said that the state would vigorously seek the death penalty against this woman. However, he and his co-counsel successfully defended against the death penalty and saved her life.
